  蒋雄达老师是中国小提琴泰斗，小提琴书籍之父，他编写的这本全国小提琴演奏考级作品集十分优秀。我的老师关宏思老师与蒋雄达老师情同父子，因此耳闻颇多。蒋雄达老师的生活非常简朴，专心研究小提琴演奏与儿童教学，为人亲切又和蔼。他教学非常耐心，逐句逐字地讲解，我本人就收藏了许多他的讲课视频供自己学习，受益匪浅。蒋雄达老师的学生获奖颇多，有些考上了美国茱莉亚音乐学院，在假期会回国参加蒋雄达老师的室内乐团演出，室内乐团的成员年龄各异，大的有茱莉亚音乐学院的小提琴硕士，小的还仅是小学生，但小提琴演奏水平，全部达到专业水准，令人钦佩！在北京学习小提琴的琴童，如果有机会，能够跟随蒋雄达老师学习小提琴，那必然是幸运的。蒋雄达老师不参加任何商业教学与招生，没有广告，学生都是亲自上门去求学的。

  Adjective like nice/beautiful are opinion adjectives. They tell us somebody thinks of something or somebody.

  Opinion adjectives usually go before fact adjectives.

  Often we use quite with a positive idea and rather with a negative idea:

  She's quite intelligent but rather lazy.

  When we use rather with positive word, it means'unusually' or 'surprisingly'.

  These oranges are rather nice. Where did you get them?
